Technology is only one piece of the puzzle. BDCH has teamed up with Milwaukee Radiologists to provide patients with the best sub-specialty radiology services in the region, offering:
BDCH utilizes a state-of-the art GE Optima MR450w 1.5T (Tesla) MRI unit. The high productivity, uncompromised image quality, expansive range of functionality and wide field of view addresses patient demand for a better and more comfortable scanning experience. The patient-friendly design can help accommodate patients such as larger, elderly or very young patients.
BDCH was the first in Dodge County to offer Tomosynthesis, or 3D Mammography, which provides clearer images that improve accuracy, increase detection rates and decrease false positives. Previously, the BDCH Breast Health Program acquired the Stereotactic Breast Biopsy system, enhancing its comprehensive continuum of breast health services, which also includes digital mammography, Breast MRI and the Mammotome® Breast Biopsy System. Stereotactic breast biopsy is designed to minimize patient discomfort and maximize accuracy.
Milwaukee Radiologists LTD is a premiere sub-specialized radiology group featuring 41 board-certified radiologists who have collectively received advanced fellowship training across eight sub-specialties. MRL is driven by continuing advancements in imaging and diagnostic services.
Using teleradiology to consult with offsite sub-specialty radiologists, BDCH patients have access to the most advanced medical imaging interpretations in their own community.
