Charges will vary depending on the length of service and are usually covered by Medicare and private insurance companies. Outpatient Diabetes Services will verify eligibility and benefits with private insurers.
Consultations for Diabetes Self Management and Medical Nutrition Therapy require a physician referral. Consultation is available with a certified diabetic educator (CDE) on an individual basis by appointment.

MMC-BD offers educational classes for those with Prediabetes. In this one hour session, a MMC-BD Diabetes Educator will review basic information about prediabetes as well as practical tips to healthy eating, weight control and exercise.
