Our passion for population health and our commitment to improving the wellbeing of our Dodge County Region led Beaver Dam Community Hospitals, Inc. to partner with the Blue Zones Project® on an innovative initiative that will help make healthy choices the easy choices.
In October 2016, we announced our sponsorship of the three-year initiative that brings community stakeholders and national well-being experts together to improve well-being through evidence-based programs and permanent changes to environment, policy and social networks.
We officially kicked off the Blue Zones Project in Beaver Dam, Horicon, Juneau and Mayville in April 2017 and look forward to the gradual progress we will all achieve together in the name of health and wellness!
BDCH’s sponsorship of the Blue Zone Project initiative was the result of a multi-year journey inspired by the vision of BDCH President and CEO Kim Miller, who wanted to find a way to improve the health and wellness of Dodge County’s residents.
