“I enjoy connecting with my patients.”

After being a patient at the clinic with her first pregnancy and experiencing compassionate care, Physician Assistant Elizabeth Nielsen knew she wanted to be a member of the team.

“I entered health care to help people,” Elizabeth said. “I think listening to the patient and understanding the circumstances that contribute to the situation or symptoms are very important to helping to obtain the best outcomes.”

Elizabeth provides general women’s health care from adolescents to adulthood, including pregnancy and postpartum care. She offers education for reproductive and sexual health, along with treatment for gynecological concerns. 

“My motto is ‘It’s your body, it’s your choice,’” she said. “I’m here to help you decide what the best option for you is. It’s an honor to be part of a patient’s health care team.”

Living in the Beaver Dam community, Elizabeth and her husband have two daughters. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, crafting, camping and spending time with family and friends.
