Volunteers with BDCH Hillside Manor (skilled nursing facility), Eagle’s Wings and Remembrance Home (assisted living) will assist residents with projects, activities and special events. This is a great opportunity for students with musical talents and offers a great environment to build friendships and gain experience across generations while making a real difference in people’s lives.
BDCH Kids Care also provides opportunities for students 16 years of age and up by assisting staff in student activities, including day camp programs with children 4 to 9 years, working with children indoors and outdoors and helping on field trips.
The BDCH Rehabilitation Department and Foot Clinic, meanwhile, will provide additional opportunities for assisting staff in a patient setting, while working in the print shop allows students to work on projects in a print shop setting.
