On behalf of Marshfield Medical Center-Beaver Dam and the BDCH Foundation, we are deeply saddened by the news of John Moser’s passing. John was beloved by the community he served for so very long, and I’m heartened that he was able to hear how much the community cared for him as he said goodbye to his listeners for the last time on Dec. 31, 2020.
John was a tireless advocate for the health and wellness of our community, and served on the BDCH Foundation board since 2008, acting as president since 2019. When we needed someone to tell our story, emcee a fundraiser or meet with someone interested in our mission, John was always eager and willing to give of his precious time because he cared about the wellbeing of his friends and neighbors.
When I arrived in Beaver Dam last March, it quickly became apparent how important John was to the community, and vice versa. Working closely with John on a shared vision for the BDCH Foundation is one of the highlights of my first year at Marshfield Medical Center-Beaver Dam, and the memories of our time together will be cherished. I know the many team members here who had the pleasure of working with John over the years feel the same way.
We are incredibly thankful for the generosity John showed so many of us, and we are comforted in the knowledge his memory will live on through his good works and those he impacted along the way. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Sue, his family and friends, and his colleagues at Good Karma Broadcasting during this difficult time.
John, you are already deeply missed.
