“Investing in people and helping them obtain an education to achieve their dreams is something which drives me and my efforts. It’s vital to mentor individuals and support them in pursuing training,” Miller said. “The Foundation Board, which plays a large role in helping people fulfill their potential, assists not only the individual achieving their dream, but the community as well.”
MPTC has campuses in Beaver Dam, Fond du Lac and West Bend, with regional centers in Jackson and Ripon, and offers a variety of training and education opportunities. In the 2015- ‘16 academic year, the Moraine Park Foundation awarded nearly $132,000 in scholarships to 151 students. These scholarships help make education affordable for students who are least able to pay for college.
Miller, who has led BDCH since 2006, is a Fellow of the American College of Health Care Executives and earned her diploma of nursing from the Mercy School of Nursing. She holds a dual Bachelor’s of Science degree in Health Care Administration and Business Administration from Juniata College, and an MBA from St. Francis University. All three schools are in Pennsylvania.
