One of the greatest traditions in sports will be the centerpiece of the Beaver Dam Community Hospitals Foundation fundraising event on Saturday, May 4, at 4 p.m. at Old Hickory Golf Club.
The 9th Annual Derby Day celebration is an opportunity to dress up in fun, Derby-style fashions and enjoy traditional event-inspired cuisine, all while supporting the BDCH Foundation and its and its mission of improving the health and wellness of Dodge County and the surrounding communities.
Premier viewing of 145th Kentucky Derby, “The Fastest Two Minutes in Sports,” highlights the event, which also features raffles, silent and live auctions and much more. There’s also the Hat Parade, where attendees have an opportunity to showcase their decorative Derby hats and a favorite is selected by vote.
Tickets are $75 per seat or $550 for a table of eight and include pre-race cocktails, appetizers and a Derby-themed dinner and dessert. Dinner choices include Blue Cheese and Caramelized Onion Tart (Vegetarian); 8 oz. Salmon with Maple Bourbon Glaze; Mushroom Braised Bacon Wrapped Pork Medallions; and Southern Fried Pecan Chicken.
