The Center
The Joint Replacement Center–located within Beaver Dam Community Hospital–is a collaborative effort between the Hospital and the Beaver Dam Orthopaedic Clinic, Ltd. The Joint Replacement Center uses state-of-the-art techniques and equipment to provide knee, hip, and shoulder joint replacements.

Joint Replacements
Joint pain may be caused when a person’s cartilage has worn away and bone rubs against bone. Total joint replacements become a treatment option when joint pain becomes too severe and interferes with your daily activities. Each year, more than 125,000 hip replacements and over 140,000 knee replacements are performed in the United States. In order to make an informed decision on your treatment, you will need to know what options exist and which option is right for you. The decision to have a joint replacement should be made by you, your primary care provider, and orthopaedic physician.

Our goal is to assist in the total care and recovery of our patients by creating an atmosphere of wellness. Some of the special features of the Joint Replacement Center include:
